Roses are one of the most classic garden plants you can add to the garden, and for good reasons.

Roses are fragrant, tough, and repeat bloomers, to name a few. They can even be used as cut flowers to be brought inside and enjoyed indoors. Now is the time to plant; you can find out why here.

Why David Austin Roses?

David Austin roses are bred for their gorgeous English flowers with many petals and intense fragrance. They have won many awards at the RHS Chelsea show for their top-tier quality and innovation.

There are many cultivars of David Austin roses, so we asked Jay, the owner of The Greenery Nursery, what his top five favorites are that we have in stock now.

‘Mary Rose’

The bright pink petals blooms of ‘Mary Rose’ form a loose-petaled flower, but still with many petals of 60. The fragrance smells like a warm, old rose with a hint of honey and almond blossom. This sweet pink cultivar forms a smaller mound of flowers, growing 4’x4′. It is the perfect addition to the garden if you are looking for a classic English rose.
